KITCHEN AND BATH REMODELING IN PONCE INLET
Ponce Inlet is the quiet end of the peninsula, and the housing reflects that. Fewer towers, more single family homes, and a lot of properties built with a specific view in mind rather than to a developer’s floor plan. That makes the remodels here less repetitive than anywhere else we work. We are about fifteen minutes north on South Atlantic Avenue, and we have been designing and remodeling kitchens and bathrooms at this end of the island for over fifteen years.
HOMES BUILT AROUND THE WATER
Houses down here tend to be oriented toward a view, which is a real advantage and an occasional constraint. Kitchens end up positioned for light rather than for workflow, and the window that makes the room worth having is also the reason there is nowhere obvious to put upper cabinets. Solving that is a design problem, and it usually means rethinking storage and work zones rather than moving walls.
Exposure is the other factor. At the end of a peninsula, salt reaches everything from three directions and there is very little between your house and the water to slow it down. Hardware pits faster here, finishes chalk sooner, and cabinet interiors deal with humidity that inland homes never see. Material selection is not a preference conversation on this street, it is a durability one.
